The affected vehicles have air compressors attached to the engine that may fail due to debris from manufacturing being left in the air intake tube. tiffin will notify owners, and cummins certified technicians will inspect the air compressor for debris. Engines with no damage will have a new air intake tube installed. Engines with foreign material damage will be repaired by a cummins certified technician, and have the air intake tube, charge air cooler, and air filter replaced. This could result in a loss of fuel pump function, which could result in the engine stalling and not being able to restarted, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: cummins-authorized dealers will replace the fan support and fan adapter with improved parts.

Issue: on certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: this recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a cummins l9 diesel engine. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 tiffin allegro. While driving approximately 50 mph, the steering lost power and the steering wheel seized. Several warning indicators illuminated on the intrument panel, including the low voltage warning indicator. The contact also stated that the vehicle made loud noises while driving over 50 mph. The vehicle was taken to poulsbo rv (425-353-6122, located at 12218 wa-99, everett, wa 98204) and the contact was referred to freightliner northwest (800-523-8014, located at 277 stewart rd sw, pacific, wa 98047). The technician replaced the serpentine belt. The contact called the manufacturer and left a message, but was not called back. The failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the freightliner northwest dealer, but the technician could no longer work on the vehicle and advised the contact to tow it to cummins sales and service (425-235-3400, located at 1800 fryar ave, sumner, wa 98390). The dealer repositioned the radiator and air conditioning units, but the vehicle was not repaired completely. The failure mileage was approximately 4,287.
