• Recall 140687 [USA]: If the lp line contacts the burner assembly, the hose may melt, causing a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Winnebago towable (winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2019 winnebago minnie drop recreational trailers. The liquid propane (lp) gas supply line may be missing p-clamps, allowing the supply line to contact the burner assembly on the refrigerator.
  winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the lp supply line for melting, replacing and securing the line as necessary, free of charge. The recall began march 7, 2019. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280, extension 5220.

• Recall 128974 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain 2013-2018 winnebago era, travato, minnie winnie, fuse, view, trend, aspect, brave, vista, sightseer, adventurer, forza, journey, tour, revel, paseo, chalet, access, and intent motorhomes and commercial vehicles, and 2013-2018 itasca spirit, navion, cambria, tribute, sunstar, sunova, suncruiser, solei, meridian, elipse, horizon, reyo, and via motorhomes. These vehicles are equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   Winnebago towable (winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 winnebago winnie drop, micro minnie, minnie, minnie plus, spyder, scorpion, destination, instinct, and voyage travel trailers manufactured november 9, 2015, to september 6, 2016. The weight label on the affected vehicles incorrectly states the fresh water capacity in gallons when it should be stated in pounds.

• Recall 2016513 [Canada]: Label
  On certain travel trailers a non-compliance exists whereby the affected trailers were produced with u.S. Tire information and cargo capacity labels rather than the required canadian formatted labels. The incorrect label may create confusion, possibly leading to the trailer being overloaded, which could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: winnebago will send revised certification labels to current dealers or owners with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the labels themselves, they can take the label to a winnebago dealer for installation.

The frame on both sides of my travel trailer has cracks where a bolt goes through to connect a frame cross member from the left side of the frame to the right side of the frame near the axles. The frame is an nxg made by bal/norco industries. The cracks developed over the last 3 years. The trailer has less than 8,600 miles on it.*dt*jb*dt*jb

Ats (automatic transfer switch) known issue w/faulty installation specifically the tinning of the switch. Causes overload resulting in smoke and possible fire if not caught. Winnebago has been contacted by numerous fuse owners of the issue and has not ordered a recall. Our vehicle was stationary, set up camp in tx state park, used surge protector at 30 amp electrical post, then plugged in to rv - noticed smell, checked area, unplugged everything, setup again, noticed smell then smoke so disconnected everything, broke camp and drove home. Contacted winnebago and took our rv to rv repair center, found it to be faulty installation of ats, mechanic replaced with new, upgraded southwire ats. It's our understanding that when southwire was informed of the issue and the problem with installation by winnebago, southwire modified and upgraded the ats to help alleviate future install issues. Winnebago is aware but has not issued a recall on the ats. The part from southwire is automatic transfer switch 30a hardwire model 41300.
