This PI was superseded to update Tech2 information in the recommended field. Please
discard PIC5641.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
SIR light on or service air bag message displayed in DIC with codes B0015 B001A B0022 B001B.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Previously the scan tool software had the incorrect definition of codes B0015 B001A B0022 B001B.
For example: If the dealer is working on a SIR concern and a B001A sets, the scan tool will tell the technician this
code is for a Driver Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Deployment Loop when actually the concern is with the Driver
Seat Belt Anchor Pretensioner Deployment Loop.
With the release of Tech2 version 32.002 on 3/5/2012 the definitions of the codes listed above have been corrected
in the Tech2.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is
resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
