MIL ILLUMINATION WITH OTC P1450:00
APPLICABLE MODEL(S)NINS
2009-2013 Mazda6 3.7L vehicles produced before March 31 , 2012
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience a MIL illumination with a OTC P1450:00 stored in memory.
• OTC P1450 :00 - Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum
This concern may be caused by the purge valve , which has been modified to eliminate this concern .
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure .
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify the MIL is illuminated and OTC P1450:00 is stored in memory.
2. Replace the purge solenoid valve with the modified part according to the instructions on MS3 online or the
Workshop Manual (section 01-16 PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
3. Verify the repair.
