Some 2016 Escape/MKC/Fiesta/Expedition/Navigator/Mustang/Transit/Focus/C-Max/
F150/Edge/MKX/Flex/MKT/Taurus/MKS/Focus RS and 2017 Escape/MKC/Fusion/MKZ vehicles
equipped with SYNC 3 may have DTCs U3000:04 or B108E:12 or U1A00:87 present in the APIM
CMDTC history. If the DTCs U3000:04 or B108E:12 or U1A00:87 are present and there are no
customer symptoms clear the codes and retest. If the code or codes do not return then no further
repairs should be attempted. If a DTC or DTCs return as a hard fault and there is a customer
symptom refer to Workshop Manual, Section 415 for repair direction.
