UNEVEN WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER PERFORMANCE
This bulletin provides the procedure to install vent clips on some 2014~2015MY Soul (PS)
vehicles, produced from July 21, 2013 through April 5, 2015, which may exhibit uneven
windshield defroster performance. Follow the procedure outlined in this bulletin to install two (2)
clips onto the center dash vents to resolve the concern.

UNEVEN WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER PERFORMANCE
Service Procedure:
1.
Locate the mounting locations for the
vent clips on the center dash vents, as
shown.
CAUTION
Be sure to wear disposable gloves
throughout this procedure to
avoid soiling interior trim panels.
2.
Install the left and right vent clips onto
the two innermost openings of the
dash vents, as shown. NOTE: dash
shown
removed
to
improve
illustration clarity only.
 NOTICE
Make sure to avoid dropping the
clips into the vents.
3.
Apply downward pressure on each
vent clip to secure in place, as shown.
