2013-2015 ALTIMA WITH 4-CYL ENGINE; CABIN “BOOM”
AND/OR STEERING/FLOOR VIBRATION WHILE DRIVING
APPLIED VEHICLE: 2013-2015 Altima Sedan (L33)
APPLIED ENGINE: QR25DE 4-cyl only
IF YOU CONFIRM:
A “boom” or drone sensation is heard in the cabin area
And/Or
A vibration is felt in the floor and/or steering wheel
When
Driving and the engine is approximately 1,800 RPM.
ACTION:
1. Check the gap between the rubber
and metal portions of the front tube
exhaust hanger (see Figure 1 and
page 2, Figure 2).
2. If less than 1 mm (0.04 inch) gap,
add shims (flat washers) between
the front suspension member and
front exhaust tube hanger. See
page 2, Figure 2 and 3.

