Issue: A customer may present a vehicle with water trapped / sound in its rear door
Cause: Body sealant not cut off properly during build process
Action: Please see attached file highlighting a correct and incorrect version of the body
sealer extent. Should you have a vehicle having over application of sealant, please trim
it away to allow any trapped water to drain away.
Check both sides of the car, and for any consequential damage as necessary.
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future
communications can be improved.
