Issue
The Image Processing Module A (IPMA module, Forward Looking Camera) is being
changed unnecessarily and to aid in correctly diagnosing customer issues related to the
Lane Keep Assist(LKA) and
Lane Departure Warning(LDW) features.
The customer is complaining about LKA and LDW issues, for example, not available,
not working, not disengaging when the indicator stalk is engaged.
Cause
Module software not to the latest level
Action
Using SDD
Update the GWM software to the latest version available.
Re - Configure the Image Processing Module A (IPMA) as a New module
Run IPMA Calibration with SDD
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future
communications can be improved.
1 = Poor – Basic information provided – The SSM does not help me resolve the
customer concern.
3 = Average – Adequate information provided – The SSM partially helps me resolve the
customer concern.
5 = Excellent – All required information provided to resolve the customer concern.
