2009-2013 Mazda6 3.7L vehicles produced before March 31, 2012
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience the Check Engine Light ON with DTC P1450:00 (Unable to bleed up fuel tank
vacuum) stored in memory. This concern may be caused by the purge valve, which has been modified to eliminate this concern.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Replace the purge solenoid valve with the modified part according to the instructions on MS3 online or the
Workshop Manual (section 01-16 PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
3. Verify the repair.
