SUBJECT: GROUP Body Electrical MODEL Optima Hybrid (TF HEV) NUMBER PS325 DATE June 2014 SLIGHT VARIATION IN THE “SET” SPEED AFTER SETTING CRUISE CONTROL A few customers have complained about their vehicle briefly accelerating beyond the set cruising speed and then slowing down to the "set" speed. If that occurs, check the G/Yaw sensor to determine if it is registering an uphill or flat road condition. If it is indicating an uphill setting, the vehicle’s G/Yaw sensor needs to be recalibrated. To correct this condition, place the vehicle on level ground and access GDS > Brakes ABS ESC > Option Treatment > Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration (HAC/DBC Only) to calibrate the sensor. Page 1 of 1
