Condition
Some customers may comment that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated.
The Technician may find DTC P05CC,P05CD, P05CE or P05CF set as Stored or History.
Cause
The cause for this is under investigation by engineering.
Correction If DTC P05CC, P05CD, P05CE or P05CF is the only code set DO NOT replace any hardware.
Clear the DTC and Test drive the vehicle. If the code does not return release vehicle back to customer.
If any of the P05Cx codes is set in conjunction with any other phaser-related DTC such as P0010, P0011, P0013, P0014, P0020, P0021, P0023,or
P0024 then follow the eSI procedure indicated for the respective DTC.
