Bulletin No.: 17-NA-129 Date: Apr-2017 Subject: Propulsion Power Reduced Message Displayed and/or DTC B2A00 Set Brand: Model: Chevrolet Bolt EV Model Year: VIN: from to 2017 2017 from Engine: Transmission: All All to Involved Region or Country North America, South Korea Condition Some customers may comment on a Propulsion Power Reduced message displayed and or a Service Driver Door Switch message displayed and One-Pedal Driving disabled, regardless of seatbelt and driver door position. During diagnosis a technician may find DTC B2A00 set or stored in history. Cause This may be due to calibration concern within the Drive Motor Power Inverter Module. Correction Update the Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Software to the latest calibrations. Parts Information No parts needed for this condition. Warranty Information For vehicles repaired under warranty, use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time 2810295 Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Reprogramming with SPS Use Published Labor Operation Time Service Procedure Important: Stable battery voltage is critical during programming. Any fluctuation, spiking, over voltage or loss of voltage will interrupt programming. Install the EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool to maintain system voltage. If not available, connect a fully charged 12 V jumper or booster pack disconnected from the AC voltage supply. DO NOT connect a battery charger. Reprogram the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module.
