SITUATION:
The fuel tank may be difficult to fill with fuel.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by the fuel filler hose being delaminated internally.
ACTION:

Should a Customer express this concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.

SERVICE INSTRUCTION:

Remove the rear right wheel and tire (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 204-04: Wheels and Tires Removal and Installation).

Remove the rear right splash shield.

Remove the fuel pipe trim.

WARNING:
Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
NOTE:
Do not discard the existing top hose fastener.

Remove the fuel pipe.

WARNING:
Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
NOTE:
Install using the existing top hose fastener.

Install the new fuel pipe.
Torque: 3.2Nm.

Install the fuel pipe trim.
Torque: 7Nm.

Install the rear right splash shield.

Install the rear right wheel and tire (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 204-04: Wheels and Tires Removal and Installation).
