Issue
Users might be experiencing an issue where the navigation guidance may not work.
When navigation destination is set and voice guidance is enabled, the user may not
experience the instructions with the voice guidance for navigation.
Cause
System language being set correctly but feedback accent may be in a different
language. This is most likely to happen after an IMC software update or someone
incorrectly setting the system language.
Action
If the user is experiencing the above mentioned symptoms then they should:
Go to home screen, press Settings Icon, press All Settings, press Languages and
Keyboards,
Select System Language to English UK and press Yes, then select System Language of
the native language.
This will then set the system language to the native language and issue will be resolved.
If this does not resolve the issue, then please take a video of the issue showing the
above activities being done in the video, raise a Technical Assistance report and attach
it to the TA.
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future
communications can be improved.
1 = Poor – Basic information provided – The SSM does not help me resolve the
customer concern.
3 = Average – Adequate information provided – The SSM partially helps me resolve the
customer concern.
