SITUATION:
The lighting control switch and/or the wiper control switch may not operate or operates intermittently.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by a poor electrical connection at the lighting control switch and/or the wiper control
switch.
ACTION:
Should a customer express concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.

One (1) tube of Nyogel electrical lubricant sufficient for 10 vehicles.

WORKSHOP PROCEDURE:

NOTE:
The lighting control switch/wiper control switch may also be referred to as steering column
multifunction switch.
Remove the lighting control switch (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 211-05: Steering Column
Multifunction Switch).

Reconnect and disconnect the lighting control switch twice to clean the electrical
contact points.

NOTES:
Do not apply Nyogel to the lighting control switch connector.
Make sure there is an even coating of Nyogel on the electrical contacts surface.
Remove any excess Nyogel.

With the lighting control switch removed, apply the Nyogel to the electrical contacts surface.

Repeat steps 1-2 for the wiper control switch.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
