2008-2014 Beetle, Eos, Golf/GTI, Jetta, Passat, Tiguan,
Touareg – Engine Control Module Fault P130A “Hide
Cylinder”
Update to information: May 23, 2014.
DTC P130A “Hide Cylinder” indicates that excessive misfiring has occurred. As a result, the ECM has
turned off a fuel injector to prevent catalyst damage. To address this fault, diagnose and repair all misfire
concerns that are present. Repairing the other faults will resolve the P130A.
