Issue: There is a possibility that some XF vehicles within the VIN range above - ordered
with 'Black pack' option - have the front bumper trims and other features incorrectly built
against the ordered specification.
Cause: Manufacturing specification build error
Action: Can you please check all vehicles within the above VIN range, within your
control and market, and advise of any that are found to be incorrect by submitting an
EPQR on the GCM system.
Please then order the required replacement components from the JEPC, and rectify any
affected vehicles, submitting a claim through the warranty system.
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future
communications can be improved.
1 = Poor – Basic information provided – The SSM does not help me resolve the
customer concern.
3 = Average – Adequate information provided – The SSM partially helps me resolve the
customer concern.
5 = Excellent – All required information provided to resolve the customer concern.
