Identification of Control Unit Variant in Quicktest
Cause:
Incorrect SCN coding of Motor Electronics. Torque converter model 1 may be specified by coding instead of torque
converter model 2.
Remedy:
1.
Confirm that the incorrect coding is selected. In Xentry: ME - Motor Electronics 'MED177' for combustion engine
'M278' -> Adaptations ->Configuration -> SCN -> Display of coding data -> 055 | Torque Converter, Model of torque converter 1 is selected. (See attachment)
2.
Perform SCN coding of motor electronics
3.
Confirm that SCN coding was successful. In Xentry: ME - Motor Electronics 'MED177' for combustion engine
'M278' -> Adaptations ->Configuration -> SCN -> Display of coding data -> 055 | Torque Converter, Model of torque converter 2 should now be selected. (See attachment)
4.
Test drive to confirm resolution of customer complaint.
If customer complaint still exists after SCN coding, please create a PTSS case.
