Cause: The taught-in value for the center position of the steering does not match the current freeze frame data due to: - Adjustment work on the axle geometry - Repositioning of the steering wheel - Repair work on the steering column tube switch module - Repair work on the steering column - Repair work on the axles Remedy: 1. Connect Xentry Diagnostics. 2. Via the "Adaptations" menu item, reset the taught-in values for the steering in the steering control unit (N68). 3. Perform a test drive. Note: Perform the test drive at a speed >50 mph (80 km/h), intermittently, over a distance of approx. 7 miles (10 km).
