CONDITION SUMMARY:
SITUATION:
A noise from front brake system during light brake pedal application may be evident, mostly from cold
start in colder ambient temperatures and typically does not re-occur after the brakes have warmed up.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by lower ambient temperatures cause the friction levels at the front brake pad to
disc interface to increase and producing a high frequency noise during light braking applications.
NOTE:
This Technical Bulletin applies to vehicles with 325mm (12.8in) diameter front brake disc only.
For vehicles with 349mm (13.7in) diameter front brake disc, raise an Electronic Product Quality
Report (EPQR) if no other communication has been issued on the subject.
ACTION:
Should a Customer express this concern, follow the Service Instruction below.

For vehicles with 349mm (13.7in) diameter front brake disc, raise an Electronic Product Quality
Report (EPQR) if no other communication has been issued on the subject.
NOTES:
