Some customers may comment on the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated.
The technician may find one or more of the following DTCs set:
• P0716
• P0717
• P0721
• P0722
• P0723
• P176B
• P176C
• P176D
Correction
If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, perform the diagnostic procedure for
the DTCs set in SI.
If the diagnostics procedures have found no conditions that set the codes, perform one of
the following repairs in relation to the DTC;
• Replace the input speed sensor.
• On vehicles built after 02MAR2017, replace the output speed sensor.
• On vehicles built prior to 02MAR2017, install the internal transmission wiring harness
and output speed sensor.
