US14+OBD16 Emissions, Commonly Model Years 2015 To 2017
Cause
Volvo chassis built between 10 November 2014 and 15 May 2016 without a TPMS may
experience intermittent brief loss of throttle/power. These symptoms may be
accompanied by data link codes.
Solution
- Verify the chassis emissions level and ensure that the vehicle is within the
applicable range for this solution.
- Details can be found in the Product Details box on the Product tab in PTT as seen
below:
Chassis configured as specified above may experience corrosion or damage to the TPMS
connector, which is included in the chassis harness regardless of whether the TPMS
module is installed. This can cause electrical issues.
