FIG 4: The roller is underneath the cabinet in the orientation shown.
The adjustment screw must be facing toward you in order to raise the roller.
The roller must be positioned as accurately as possible according to the following instructions.
There is a tube under the flooring that moves the slide in and out. If the roller is not located correctly, the
mounting screws for the roller brackets may hit this tube. Once the roller bracket location is determined, mark
the left bracket edges with tape or a pencil.

Adjustment
screw
FIG 11: Install one screw from the kit in the front location of the left roller bracket.
Use the right angle drill adapter and the 3/8" nut driver bit.
Make sure the bracket does not move as you install the first screw.
Other screws for the left bracket may have to be driven in at an angle as driver tool is too large.
FIG 12: Once you have one screw in place, you can elevate the roller by turning the adjustment screw.
Use the 1/2" socket and a ratchet or screw gun, but elevate the roller slowly.
This will raise the cabinet giving you a little more room for the right angle adapter to work.
BE VERY CAREFUL RAISING THE CABINET.
DO NOT STRESS THE CABINET TO THE BREAKING POINT.
By raising the roller, you may be able to get enough room to install the screws in the left bracket.
If screws can't be driven straight in, then they will have to be installed at an angle.
Make sure the bracket does not move while driving the screws in.
Install 3 more screws in the left bracket. (1 in the other single hole, and 2 side by side in the middle hole)
You can attempt to put the 4 screws in the bracket on the right side with the roller raised.
If this doesn't work there is another option to install the screws (for the right side only). (See Fig 13-16)

FIG 15: Use the screw gun with the long extension and the 3/8" nut driver bit.

FIG 17: Once all 8 screws are secured, the roller must be elevated so the bottom of the cabinet
sits exactly at 3 inches from the floor. If the roller was elevated to put screws in, you may
need to lower it to the 3 inch height.
Clean up all the shavings and debris from drilling.
Replace the furnace vent and two screws, re-attach the vent hose with 1 screw.
Replace the drawer.
Replace the 2 base trim pieces with the 4 screws, and replace the screw caps.
TEST THE ROLLER INSTALLATION.
Run the slide out in, and the center of the slide out should now be supported with the new roller.

Epoxy will be applied on the textured (rough) side.
Prepare 6 wood blocks which will be used to hold the glide strips in place until epoxy dries.
Wood blocks can be made from a 2 x 4. They need to be cut down from 3-1/2" wide to 3-1/4".
Dimensions of the wood blocks should be 3-1/4 " wide x 1-1/2" thick, x 10-1/4" long.

LEFT SIDE GLIDE STRIP INSTALLATION:
FIG 26: Apply 1/4" bead of epoxy to the textured side of the glide strip in the pattern shown.
FIG 27: Place one of the rollers under the floor so the floor can be raised for placement of the glide strip.
(The roller can be temporarily mounted on a small block to aid in lifting the floor)
Use 3 of the wood blocks and place them as shown in the photo.
Place the glide strip between the slide out floor and the wood blocks.
ADHESIVE MUST FACE UPWARDS AGAINST THE SLIDE OUT FLOOR!
Smooth side of the glide strip will contact the wood blocks.
Center the glide strip on the two marks made in Fig 19 which identifies the width of the roller.
Glide strip must butt against the sidewall glide strip under the floor (Fig 25).
Glide strip must be flush with the front edge of the slide out floor.
When the glide strip is positioned properly, lower the roller so floor presses the glide strip against the blocks.
The wood blocks will put pressure on the glide strip, holding it in place until the epoxy dries.
LEAVE WOOD BLOCKS IN PLACE (24 HRS) UNTIL EPOXY HAS COMPLETELY CURED.
Now move over to the right side roller position.

RIGHT SIDE GLIDE STRIP INSTALLATION:
FIG 28
Right side roller
Place a roller under the slide out floor on the right side of the couch.
Raise the roller until you can slide 3 wood blocks under the floor (Fig 28).
Blocks need to be placed underneath the floor where the right roller will be installed.
The procedure for this side is similar to the previous steps for the left side.
Measure the fit of the glide strip. It should butt against the existing glide strip, and be flush to floor edge.
Trim the glide strip if it is too long.
Glide strip must butt against the sidewall roller glide strip back under the floor.
Glide strip must be centered with the marks made on the front edge of the floor (reference Fig 19).
Apply epoxy to the textured side of the glide strip in the pattern shown in Fig 26.
Place the glide strip between the slide out floor and the wood blocks.
ADHESIVE MUST FACE UPWARDS AGAINST THE SLIDE OUT FLOOR!
Smooth side of the glide strip will contact the wood blocks.
Lower the floor so the blocks press the glide strip to the floor.
LEAVE WOOD BLOCKS IN PLACE OVERNIGHT (24 HRS) UNTIL EPOXY HAS COMPLETELY CURED.
DO NOT CONTINUE WITH ROLLER INSTALLATION UNTIL THE EPOXY HAS COMPLETELY CURED.
NOTE: If you mounted the roller to a wood block for glide strip installation, remove it from the wood
block at this time.
