Subject: UPDATE ‐ Subaru Recall Campaign WQQ‐52 Brake Line Corrosion
As we mentioned in the January 26, 2015 subarunet announcement concerning the WQQ‐52 Brake Line
Corrosion recall, additional affected vehicles would need to be identified based on additional WQK‐47
claims submitted throughout the 90‐day claim submission period.
The affected vehicles include certain: 2009‐2013 Subaru Forester vehicles; 2008‐2011 Subaru Impreza,
WRX, and STI vehicles; and 2012‐2014 Subaru WRX and STI vehicles repaired prior to December 23, 2014
under the WQK‐47 (14V‐311) brake line corrosion recall.
The 90‐day claim submission time period for WQK‐47 repairs completed prior to December 23, 2014 has
ended. From the additional WQK‐47 claims submitted with a repair completion date prior to December
23, 2014, we have identified an additional 338 vehicles that must be repaired under the WQQ‐52 recall.

Notification letters will be sent to the owners of these additional 338 vehicles on April 27, 2015

Emails will also be sent to affected owners with a valid email address on file with MySubaru.com

WQQ‐52 recall coverage information for these vehicles is now available through the Vehicle
Coverage Inquiry function on subarunet.com

A list of the additional affected VINs has been send to each respective Region/Zone Office
Coverage for affected vehicles must be confirmed by using the Vehicle Coverage Inquiry function on
subarunet.com. If you have any questions concerning the WQQ‐52 recall, please refer to the WQQ‐52
