RECOMMENDATIONS
Toyota Yaris:
This vehicle selection is applicable to the USA and Canada from 2004 through 2019 model year (MY),
and Mexico from 2004 through 2016 MY. Starting with 2017 MY, Mexico received a Yaris with a
different model code, which is referred to as “Yaris THAI-Prod” in TIS (see below).
Scion iA, Toyota iA (Yaris iA), Toyota Yaris SD MEX-Prod (Yaris Sedan), and Toyota Yaris R:
These vehicles are essentially the same, but are named differently depending on sales destination
and Model Year.
 USA (except Puerto Rico & USVI)
o 2016 – Scion iA
o 2017-2018 – Toyota Yaris iA (“iA” in TIS under Toyota division)
o 2019 – Yaris SD MEX-Prod
 Canada, Puerto Rico, & USVI – Yaris SD MEX-Prod
 Mexico – Yaris R
Toyota Yaris THAI-Prod:
This vehicle is the 2017-2019 Toyota Yaris (Hatchback and Sedan) sold in Mexico.
