SITUATION:
A resonance/vibration may be felt through the vehicle body, seating, and steering wheel when the engine
is between 1,500-2,200 Revolutions Per Minute (RPM).
CAUSE:
This may be caused by the exhaust system being out of alignment.
ACTION:
Should a customer express this concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.

Loosen the left-side engine mount nut.

Raise the vehicle on a ramp (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 100-02: Jacking and Lifting).

Loosen the 4 transmission mount fasteners.

Loosen the exhaust clamp.

Lower the vehicle on the ramp (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 100-02: Jacking and Lifting).

Align the exhaust system:
1 Start and stop the engine.
Repeat this 3 times.
2 Start the engine.
3 Raise the engine speed from idle to 3,500 RPM and back to idle.
Repeat this 5 times.
4 Stop the engine.
5 Start and stop the engine 5 times.
The engine must be OFF before continuing to the next Step.

Torque: 60 Nm.
