ACTION
Clean the oil drip and residue from the steering column assembly per the SERVICE
PROCEDURE on page 2.
NOTE: Do NOT replace the Steering Column Assembly for this incident, if it should occur.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Spray brake parts cleaner onto a clean shop cloth as shown in Figure 2.

Use only Low VOC brake cleaner that complies with local regulations.

DO NOT use carburetor cleaner for this action.

Nissan Low VOC brake cleaners are listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of
this bulletin.
