SUBJECT: DTC B2910 and B2911, Revised Diagnostic
		Procedure
INTRODUCTION:
This Service Information bulletin announces a revision to the diagnostic procedure used when
diagnosing either DTC B2910 or 2911 “Steering Responsive Headlight Communication” LH or RH.
SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION:
REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs.
The current Service Manual diagnostic procedure states to disconnect the headlight connector
for the side of the vehicle the DTC is for. The revised procedure states to disconnect BOTH
headlight connectors regardless of what DTC is being diagnosed. See the images below for further
clarification.
