GENERAL MANAGER q PARTS MANAGER q q SERVICE INFORMATION BULLETIN APPLICABILITY: SUBJECT: 2012-2016MY Impreza 2013-2016MY Forester NUMBER: 07-138-18 DATE: 07/30/18 IG2 and ACC Relay Change INTRODUCTION: This Service Information bulletin announces the standardization of the IG2 and ACC relays used on the models listed. Both of these relays are located on the back (front facing) side of the passenger compartment fuse box (F/B) as shown in the image below. F/B Back Side (1)- IG2 Relay (2)- ACC Relay PART INFORMATION: The new part number for both of these relays is: 82501AL000. NOTE: Only these 2 relays have been changed to the new part number. Other locations requiring part number 82501AG070 will continue to use that part number as specified in the parts catalog. Continued... Page 1 of 2 SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION: REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs. The service procedure for relay replacement is unchanged. Always refer to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. The Service Manual procedures contain information critical to performing an effective repair the first time and every time. This includes but is not limited to: important SAFETY precautions, proper inspection criteria, necessary special tools, required processes and related one-time-use parts needed for a complete and lasting repair. NOTE: Whenever space allows, it is recommended to always use Relay Pliers, Special Tool SOA814001T when removing relays to avoid possible damage to the fuse box terminals. IMPORTANT REMINDERS: • SOA strongly discourages the printing and/or local storage of service information as previously released information and electronic publications may be updated at any time. • Always check for any open recalls or campaigns anytime a vehicle is in for servicing. • Always refer to STIS for the latest service information before performing any repairs.
