Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment S3 2015 - 2017 All 2.0 TFSI TTS 2016 - 2017 All 2.0 TFSI Condition Customer states: MIL on Workshop findings: One or more of the following DTCs are logged in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 0001): DTC P030000 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) DTC P030100 (Cyl.1 Misfire Detected) DTC P030200 (Cyl.2 Misfire Detected) DTC P030300 (Cyl.3 Misfire Detected) DTC P030400 (Cyl.4 Misfire Detected) Technical Background Under extreme conditions within 30 seconds after cold engine start, misfires can be recorded in the engine control module on all cylinders at the exact same time (2000rpm - 3000rpm range). No actual misfire can be felt. Production Solution New software in the ECM, J623 (address word 0001) addressed the condition. Service SVM Update Instructions 1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. 2.
