Issue: Customers of 17MY Discovery, may report that they are unable
to open their bonnet when operating the release handle to it's
maximum hard-stop position.
Cause: Investigations by JLR Engineering have confirmed that the
overall cable length is incorrect for the required specification.
Action: A new part number has now been released for service with a
shorter cable length to fix the Customer reported problem. The parts
catalogue will be updated shortly with new number, in the meantime
please order the below part:
