CONDITION SUMMARY:
SITUATION:
On vehicles with a power tailgate, a clicking noise may be evident when opening the power tailgate
and/or the power tailgate strut cover(s) may be loose/adrift.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by poor component sealing allowing water to enter the power tailgate strut.
ACTION:
Should a customer express this concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.
