This may be caused by old stock driver door window switchpacks not having the required sealing tape
installed, leading to water ingress.
ACTION:
Should a Customer express a concern, follow the Workshop Procedure below.

Refer to Glass, Frames and Mechanisms (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-11:
Diagnosis and Testing - Glass, Frames and Mechanisms).
1 Rectify any faults found before continuing.

Remove and discard the driver door (master) window switchpack (see TOPIx Workshop
Manual section 501-11: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms - Removal and Installation - Driver
Door Window Control Switch).

Inspect the new driver door (master) window switchpack.

If sealing tape is installed to the new driver door (master) window switchpack, go
to Step 6.
If sealing tape is not installed to the new driver door (master) window switchpack,
go to Step 4.

Apply sealing tape to both sides of the new driver door (master) window switchpack, covering
the side cavities on the driver door switchpack.

Correct position (✓) of the sealing tape.

Install the new driver door (master) window switchpack (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section
501-1: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms - Removal and Installation - Driver Door Window
Control Switch).
