Although, most common on direct injected gasoline engines. It is possible on certain model vehicles that this fuel line jumper hose can be installed incorrectly. This makes it important to observe the direction of this fuel jumper hose during installation in order to avoid a no start condition or low fuel pressure situation. Many of these fuel jumper lines are equipped with a one way check valve. Pay close attention to the orientation of the fuel line during removal so that it is properly reinstalled.
