Cause:
Damage is likely due to excessive loading caused by failure of diesel particulate filter mount..
Remedy:
If the diesel particulate filter mount has cracked and caused damaged to the transmission mounting location (see example photos), ONLY the torque converter housing is to be replaced.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#1 - Uninstall torque converter housing with multidisk brake B1and oil pump still attached - (AR27.50-D-0601WE).
#2 - Remove multidisk brake B1 and oil pump (AR27.50-D-0721WE) from original bell housing.
#3 - Replace torque converter housing and reinstall multidisk brake B1and oil pump - (AR27.50-D-0721WE). Please
refer to EPC for correct part number.
#4 - Reinstall new torque converter housing.
