NOTICE
-
Chassis Ears are available for order through Bosch: 1-866-539-4248
Service Procedure:
1.
Confirm the noise by performing a test drive.
If no noise is heard, no further repair is
necessary.
2.
If the noise is confirmed, attach chassis ears
to the following locations:
- The knuckle where the source of the
noise is.
- The opposite side knuckle to compare
left and right wheel bearing condition.
- Other areas suspected of causing the
noise to compare the sound coming
from the knuckle to other sources.
NOTICE
Be sure to route the wires for the
chassis ears away from any
moving components (CV shaft,
suspension components, etc.).
Secure the wires using cable ties,
or similar. Leave enough slack for
suspension and steering
movement.
