Export Regions, Europe Condition Some customers may comment on a noise heard under the hood towards the right side of the vehicle when putting the vehicle into Park. The noise may be due to the vehicle not being stopped completely and the driver requesting the vehicle to go into Park. Cause Correction ⇒ The Bolt EV and Ampera-e can use the Electric Park Brake, or the braking system’s hydraulic pump, to apply the brakes to protect the drive unit while the wheels are turning. Do not replace any components for this condition since it is considered normal and offers additional security in certain situations, including a driver park request while the vehicle is in motion. Parts Information No parts are needed for this concern. Customer Information Please communicate to the customer this condition is a normal characteristic of their vehicle. It will not impact the designed performance or reliability of the vehicle. Please share this information with the customer, including a copy of this bulletin.
