Initial diagnosis shows no fault found or no measurable quiescent drain. Cause: The intermittent cause could be related to a number of factors including but not limited to: Quiescent drain Faulty battery Module software Wiring continuity Action: Following cross-carline investigations of patterns and trends no clear root cause has been established to date. (See exception below). Therefore a comprehensive test plan has been developed to methodically evaluate vehicles with flat batteries. When diagnosing a flat battery, please utilize the TOPIx Workshop Manual instructions outlined in section 414-01 “Battery, Mounting and Cables – Flat Battery Diagnosis and Testing”. For L560 Range Rover Velar please also reference SSM 74159 “Vehicle parked with the doors unlocked experiencing intermittent battery quiescent drain”.
