Reason for block
Complaint:
Rattle or clunking noise originating from the rear axle area when going over bumps
Cause:
Bolted connection at rear sway bar to sway bar link loose
Remedy:
1. Replace the left and right bolt & locking nut at the sway bar to sway bar link connections
NOTE: Ensure proper orientation of the bolted connection (see bolt installation.jpg)
2. With the vehicle suspension loaded torque the bolted connection to 50Nm + 90° torque angle
NOTE: Apply torque and torque angle to the nut while counter holding the bolt
