A whistle noise is heard when refueling the vehicle.
ACTION
Replace the fuel tank with the new one listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this
bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Follow all warnings, cautions, and notes in the Electronic Service
Manual (ESM) when working on or near fuel system and EVAP system components.
NOTE: The fuel tank must be no more than ½ full (the less fuel the better) to prevent
spillage when removing the fuel tank.

Replace the fuel tank.

Refer to the ESM for fuel tank removal and installation: ENGINE > FUEL SYSTEM >
VK56VD > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FUEL TANK.
