Condition
This service information concerns the warranty accounting for claims submitted for repairs for noises in the
headliner/sunroof area.
Technical Background
On vehicles equipped with a Panoramic sunroof, there may be noises from the connection of the headliner to the
sunroof frame. These noises are caused by the clips of the headliner.
These repairs are often coded using the service number for the sunroof frame (6028) and are incorrect with
respect to the root cause of the noises, that being the headliner/headliner clips. The service number for the
headliner (7084) should be used in these cases along with the damage code 020.

Service
Please refrain from using service number 6028 for claims where repairs were made to abate noises in the
headliner/headliner clip area. Service number 7084 with a damage code 0020 should be used.
