Engine Replacement Care Point- Bolt Measurement &
Replacement
Technical Description:
• No oil pressure on new engine
• Bolts from original engine seem to bottom out on new engine
Status:
• TOPIX may require technician to measure the bolts length & replace the bolts.
The oil pump is friction drive off the crank pulley requiring the bolts to be the
appropriate length. If the bolts are too short, the oil pump never turns causing
no oil pressure on the new engine.
