IF YOU CONFIRM
A wind noise coming from the front door area that has the following characteristics:

Occurs at 40 mph and above.

The wind noise is heard from the left and/or right side of the vehicle.

The wind noise may be heard near the rear edge of the front door window or near
the front edge of the rear door window.
ACTION
Replace the sash moldings on both sides of the vehicle with the parts listed in PARTS
INFORMATION on the last page of this bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Verify the wind noise is originating
from the area circled in Figure 1.

Left side is shown, right side is a
mirror image.
HINT:
The wind noise may be present on
one side or both sides of the vehicle.

Partially remove the rear door
weatherstrip (Figure 2).

Front
Left side is shown, right side is a
mirror image.
3.
Release the three (3) sash molding
clips, indicated with a yellow triangle
in Figure 2 and remove the sash
molding.
4.
Replace the sash molding with the
new one listed in PARTS
INFORMATION on the next page.
5.
Reattach the rear door weatherstrip.
6.
Repeat steps 2 through step 5 for the
right side of the vehicle.
