Complaint:
A display message indicating the right or left low beam inoperative.
Despite the message, the primary function of the low beam is not inhibited.
Quick test may include the following fault codes or other fault codes related to vehicle lighting system:
E1n11 / E2n11 LED control unit:
B178392 Control Unit "LED driving lights actuation module" has a malfunction. The function or instruction is faulty.
N10/6 FSAM:
U118A02 Communication with control unit 'Left headlamp range adjustment' has a malfunction. There is a general signal fault.
A40/11 MFK:
U120B97 Communication with the control unit 'Headlamp' has a malfunction. The system function is restricted.
Cause:
Root cause is still under investigation.
Remedy:
Perform the guided tests for each fault code related to the lighting system in the quick test.
Open a PTSS case and include an initial quick test, printout of completed guided tests indicting results, control unit
logs from any control unit with a fault related to lighting, and a front SAM control unit log.
