This may happen when stones from the road enter through the bumper opening and damage the radiator core tube. This TSB instructs dealers how to install a new radiator and add an EPDM sponge which covers the exposed radiator core. AFFECTED VEHICLES 2014 - 2020 Outlander REPAIR PROCEDURE Replace the radiator with a new one and install the EPDM sponge (packing) covering the exposed radiator core referring to the steps below. Remove the peeling seal. 1. Clean attaching face 2. Remove the seal Page 3 of 4 TSB-20-14-XXX 3. Attach on the bottom of condenser (bottom of concave). 3. Attach on bottom of condenser 4. Remove side peeling seal. 4. Remove the side peeling seal. Page 4 of 4 TSB-20-14-XXX 5. Adhere/push the sponge toward the red line in the diagram so that it is attached on the side of the radiator tank. ! CAUTION Confirm the sponge is firmly attached and does not come off. 5.
