SERVICE INSTRUCTION:
1.
Raise and support the vehicle (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 100-02:
Jacking and Li ing - Description and Operation - Li ing).
2.
Remove the engine undershield (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-02:
Front End Body Panels - Removal and Installation - Engine Undershield).
3.

Remove the charge air cooler intake pipe.
Disconnect the 2 retaining clips.
Remove the bolt.

Clean off any oil residue found in and around end of the charge air cooler intake
pipe that connects to the turbocharger and the turbocharger outlet, as shown in
the illustration.
5.

Install the O-ring into the end of the charge air cooler intake pipe that connects to
the turbocharger, as shown in the illustration.

Install the charge air cooler intake pipe.
Secure the 2 retaining clips.
Install the bolt.
Torque: 9 Nm
7.
Install the engine undershield (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-02: Front
End Body Panels - Removal and Installation - Engine Undershield).
8.
Lower the vehicle (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 100-02: Jacking and
Li ing - Description and Operation - Li ing).
