Please discard previous versions of this bulletin. APPLIED VEHICLES: 2014-2020 Rogue (T32) This bulletin does not apply to Rogue Hybrid. IF YOU CONFIRM A vibration from the accelerator pedal between 1600 - 2000 RPM. ACTION Install the new brake booster vacuum tube and hose listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/6 SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Loosen the air duct assembly (aft) screw clamps. 2. Separate the rubber air duct assembly (aft) from the mass air flow sensor and the electronic throttle control actuator. Release the breather hose clamp from the air duct assembly (aft). 5. Remove the breather hose from the air duct assembly (aft). Pull the air duct assembly (aft) straight up on the passenger side then the driver side to release the clips. 7. Remove the air duct assembly (aft) from the vehicle. Figure 3 2/6 NTB18-033b 8. Remove the acoustic absorber clips from the cowl. NOTE: There are two (2) different possible acoustic absorber designs. The clips are located in the approximate area shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5. Release the clamp from the brake booster vacuum hose at the intake manifold. 10. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold. Clamp Brake booster vacuum hose Figure 6 3/6 NTB18-033b 11. Release the clamp from the brake booster vacuum hose at the brake booster. 12. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the brake booster. Brake booster vacuum hose Clamp Figure 7 13. Release the two (2) brake booster vacuum tube mounting clips. NOTE: The passenger side mounting clip is located under the acoustic absorber in the approximate location shown in Figure 8. Mounting clip locations 14. Remove the brake booster vacuum tube from the vehicle. Figure 8 NOTE: Old brake booster vacuum tube and hose The new brake booster vacuum tube will come with a new rubber hose for the brake booster side. The original rubber hose on the intake manifold side will need to be transferred to the new metal brake booster vacuum tube. All original hose clamps will need to be transferred to the new brake booster vacuum tube. Intake manifold side New brake booster vacuum tube and hose Figure 9 4/6 NTB18-033b 15. Locate the plastic sleeve installed on the metal section of the new brake booster vacuum tube. NOTE: The old brake booster vacuum tube is not equipped with the plastic sleeve. The plastic sleeve will be used in the next step to properly locate the new brake booster vacuum line. Plastic sleeve Figure 10 Driver side clip 16. Install the new brake booster vacuum tube. 17. Attach the driver side clip to the new brake booster vacuum tube with the plastic sleeve positioned on the driver side of the clip. Plastic sleeve Brake booster Figure 11 18. (2) Use the Symptom and Diagnostic codes that apply to the repair actually performed. (3) Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated FRT.
