Condition
Customer states:
 The HV battery charging does not work, if the timer is used.
Workshop findings:
 The customer has difficulties with timed charging. Immediate charging works correctly, but in the case of timed
charging there is a problem with waking up the integrated charger in order to start charging.
 No DTCS are stored in the relevant control modules.
Technical Background
In model year 2023, a new control module for the internal charger with its own timer will be available.
Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available.
Service
Condition verification procedure:
1. No DTCs are stored for CAN communication (repair as needed – outside of this PSS TSB).
2. No DTCs are stored in onboard charger, address 00C6 (repair as needed following GFF and ELSA
instructions – outside of this PSS TSB).
3. Verify that immediate charging does work.
4. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi
(under Related Links >> Service), or through the Technical Assistance Page in Elsa.

5. Explain to the customer that this is a very rare condition and is unlikely to happen again, but if it does, not to
utilize the scheduled charging function.
