Service
Partial, light corrosion observed
on the surface of one or several
cylinder walls have no influence
on the operation of the engine
(Figures 1 - 2). The APS coating
is unaffected.
An engine replacement is not
justified. The cause for the MIL or
the customer concern needs
further diagnosis.
